SCHOOL-WIDE LEADERSHIP JOBS

Students in grades 3-5 have the opportunity to have an authentic leadership job outside of the class.  Although every student will have the opportunity, students are not required to have a leadership job.  In fact, students must show a great deal of responsibility to have their leadership job. Students must take a strengths survey to identify their areas of strength and interest.  They must research all jobs and apply for jobs they believe they have the strengths for.  Students will likely participate in their leadership job once a week and should find time outside of instructional time.  This means they will do their job before school, during recess, or during lunch.  After each session, students should record their time and reflection on the log.
